A virtual tour of the natural world at the Jardin d'Acclimatation
Wild Immersion, the new attraction of the Jardin d'Acclimatation, will delight, thrill and amaze you. Imagine crossing the five continents via virtual reality and discovering the astonishing diversity of our planet’s fauna and flora...
An ethical and educational approach
Located on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, the Jardin d'Acclimatation is the oldest animal park in Paris. Opened in 1860 by Napoléon III and Empress Eugenie, in 2018 it was completely renovated and modernised into a state-of-the-art leisure facility and amusement park. Among the attractions is Wild Immersion, a 360° flagship entertainment project developed with the support of the primatologist and anthropologist Jane Goodall, a great protector of animal biodiversity. Wild Immersion is the world's first virtual wildlife reserve. It takes you on a journey across the planet to discover our natural world as you’ve never seen it before.
A virtual nature reserve and an extraordinary adventure
Since February 23rd, visitors to the Jardin d'Acclimatation can enjoy a multisensory experience that immerses them in wild nature and helps them to understand the importance of preserving biodiversity.
You’ll experience an unforgettable adventure among the zebras, giraffes and herds of elephants of the African savannah or with the pandas of Asia. In Oceania you’ll encounter awesome whale sharks and adorable little koalas, while in the Amazon you’ll have the opportunity to watch the antics of the monkeys that inhabit the equatorial rainforest. Finally, you’ll be plunged into the world’s coldest sea to find out what lives there. Animal young add a profoundly tender note to this fabulous journey to the heart of the animal kingdom.
At the Jardin d'Acclimatation you can take a world tour without a plane ticket and leave no carbon footprint, thanks to Wild Immersion, some remarkable wildlife photography and the wonders of virtual reality!
