It will take you only a few minutes to reach such prestigious sites as the Eiffel Tower, the Palais de Chaillot, the Place du Trocadero and the Maison de Balzac. An aquatic show of beauty
Created in 1867, this discovery space is thought to be the oldest public aquarium in the world. Completely renovated and now covering more than 3,500 square metres, it is famed for a huge tank that hosts several dozen sharks, a magnificent new ‘Medusarium’ focussing on jellyfish, and a touch pool where you can get close enough to various kinds of fresh water fish for them to nuzzle your fingers. The Paris Aquarium also offers numerous educational workshops and shows throughout the year.
